St. Augustine Green Team Already At Work "Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, God is pleased by sacrifices of that kind." (Hebrews 13:16)
The St. Augustine Green Team did not waste any time initiating its first campaign of the school year. A very successful soccer uniform drive was held in September, and 323 items were collected (153 shirts, 98 shorts, 60 pairs of socks, 10 soccer balls and 2 pairs of shoes). The sports equipment was donated to Dr. Andrew Simone's Canadian Food For Children (CFFC) and will be sent to a developing country. The drive is an excellent example of reusing items to benefit others,as the sports equipment will help give children health, confidence and happiness.
