Lord Jesus Christ, we, whom you have called and sent forth to teach,
come in prayer to you, the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Help us to teach as you did. Enlighten our minds with the truth of your Gospel
so that we may teach that truth with fidelity, conviction and courage.
Guide our feet on the way of your justice, peace, and love, so that,
by our witness, we may lead those whom we teach to follow in your footsteps.
Live in us by the power of your Spirit, so that we may draw
those whom we teach ever closer to you, the fountain of Life.
