Focus on Youth Summer Program 2011
"Hooray for Summer"
The Focus on Youth Summer Program is back in 2011!
The Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board has partnered with not-for-profit community agencies through the Focus on Youth Program to support them in delivering free summer programs for families who are economically disadvantaged.

Please review the program brochure for camp descriptions, dates, locations and ages of the variety of camp opportunities for your child.

You can select your top three camp choices. Campers will be sent a Camp confirmation informing them of the program they have been selected to attend.
Program Dates: Focus on Youth Program runs from Monday July 4th – Thursday August 11th
There are a variety of camps your child can register for located at varies Catholic School throughout the city.
Friday August 12, 2011 – Program Celebration at Cathedral High School-(no camp programs this day)
Civic Holiday on Monday August 1st, 2011–there are no camp programs on this day.
Who is eligible?
Students currently in grades 1-8 and come from an economically disadvantaged families.
Registration
Camper registration forms are available, for eligible participants, through your child’s Catholic Elementary School.
One registration form per child please.
Please return completed HWCDSB FOY Camper Registration forms to your child’s school.
After June 30th please fax completed registration forms to fax: 905 387-6703 or drop them off at the HWCDSB MacNab Street Offices (St. Mary Elementary School-209 MacNab Street)
Leadership
The HWCDSB has hired 64 student leaders from our Catholic High schools to assist the community agencies in providing your child with an amazing summer experience. We are very proud of our leaders.
