Open, Prerequisite IDC3OW
This course will allow students to expand their experiences in the Web site development process. This includes taken on the role of a webmaster that coordinates and is involved with the design of a school website. Students will create dynamic websites using Flash with Actionscripting, CSS, Javascript, XML, and ASP.NET (Visual Studio C#). This course takes expectations from Information Technology in Business BTA3O,BTX4C, Computer and Information Science ICS4U and EBT4O Communication in the World of Business and Technology curriculum areas. Students will be engaged in the production process throughout the school year. Activities will range from interviewing and writing stories, designing and creating pages to capturing images, and video of various school events.
