Welcome back, finally.
After a week that saw our students return to school on staggered days and in staggered cohorts, today marks the first official day with our full complement of students.
Close to thirty thousand elementary and secondary students will be back in school, whether virtually or in-person on Wednesday, September 16th after a long six-months out of the classroom.
Over the past several months, staff in all areas of the board have been working tirelessly on our school reopening plans to ensure a safe reopening and return for our students and staff. Health, safety and well-being –central to our school reopening plans – will continue to be a big part of our efforts during this new age of COVID-19.
Despite the challenges of the times, our staff look forward to working with our Catholic school councils, parents and parish communities to ensure that our students have an enriching, faith-filled and joyful school year. While it won’t be a conventional school year as we have come to know it, we hope to provide a school year that is as normal as possible while ensuring the health and well-being of our students and staff.
Please visit our school and board websites regularly for information on the many great activities that are taking place in our Catholic schools.
Thank you for your continued support of Catholic education. Together we are “believing, achieving, serving.”
