Breast Cancer Awareness graphicOctober is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Across Canada, one out of eight women will receive this diagnostic in her lifetime. While more people are surviving a breast cancer diagnosis than ever before, it’s still the most common cancer and second leading cause of cancer death among Canadian women.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month
is raising awareness about the importance of regular screening. Early detection improves the chances of survival and access to more effective treatments.

This month, wear a pink ribbon to raise awareness of breast cancer.
