The HWCDSB offers the International and Indigenous Languages Elementary Program, in-person and virtually for elementary students from Year 1 K to grade eight.
Classes are filling up quickly. Once the class is full, interested participants will be placed on a waiting list and will be contacted should a space become available. Please register as soon as possible to reserve a spot.
The languages offered are Amharic, Arabic, Armenian, Assyrian, Azerbaijani, Cantonese, Chaldean, Croatian, Farsi, Filipino, Hindi, Hungarian, Italian, Malayalam, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, Slovenian, Spanish, Tamil, Ukrainian, Urdu, Vietnamese, and Yoruba. Classes are conditional on enrolment and instructor availability and therefore participants will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
