As we light a candle each week on the Advent wreath, we invite you to follow along on our Advent Campaign as we explore the meaning of each candle and how it calls us to live our faith today.
This week, as we lit the candle of peace, students at St. John Henry Newman Catholic Secondary School shared where they experience peace in their lives and in their school community. Many spoke about spending time with friends, listening to music, or playing sports, and how those moments help them feel calm, supported, and connected.
May this week remind us that peace begins in the heart and grows when we choose compassion, patience, and love.
