The Bay Area Science & Engineering Fair (BASEF) 2026 invites students, volunteers, and community members to take part in this year’s regional celebration of STEM learning and innovation. Student registration is open from February 1 to February 25, 2026, for students in Grades 7–12 across Hamilton, Halton Region, Six Nations, Brant, Norfolk, and Haldimand Counties. BASEF 2026 is also seeking merit judges and event volunteers, with training provided and flexible opportunities available. The fair will be held at Hillfield-Strathallan College Athletic Complex, with over $150,000 in cash, scholarships, and prizes to be awarded. Community participation helps support and inspire the next generation of STEM learners.
