As the Winter Olympics head into their final weekend, schools across the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board are celebrating the spirit of sport, perseverance, and community while cheering on Canada’s Olympians.
At St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Elementary School, students and staff have embraced the excitement through a variety of activities, including a large and eye-catching bulletin board along the main hallway where medals are added each time Team Canada reaches the podium — a simple way to bring students together and celebrate national pride.
As the Games conclude, we congratulate Team Canada and give thanks for the dedication, teamwork, and hope that continue to inspire students and staff across HWCDSB.
