Grade 12 chemistry students from Bishop Tonnos Catholic Secondary School recently visited McMaster University as part of ChemLab Day, engaging in hands-on, experiential learning in a post-secondary lab setting. The visit offered students a preview of university-level science and the opportunity to explore future pathways in chemistry and related fields.
Bishop Tonnos Teacher Marlena Zdelar noted that experiences like this help build students’ confidence as they prepare for the transition to post-secondary education.
