Cathedral Spreads Mother’s Day Joy

In the weeks leading up to Mother’s Day, the Culture of Life Committee at Cathedral High School, together with members of the school community, came together for a meaningful initiative focused on service, compassion, and appreciation for mothers.

Students and staff worked hard to create more than 50 handmade flower bouquets, carefully arranging over 500 flowers in preparation for Mother’s Day. In partnership with Halton Alive, the bouquets were delivered to mothers at Cama Woodlands Long Term Care Home on Mother’s Day.

The response from the residents was truly moving. The bouquets brought immense joy to the mothers and helped make their Mother’s Day especially memorable.

Special thanks as well to committee members Privilege Fobid Greatness, Naatumanya Ssenabulya, and Stephen Barletafor helping spearhead and organize this event. A special thank you goes to staff members Alicia Kopec, Gregory Armacinski, Michaela Kelly, and Grace Timson for their support and assistance in making this initiative possible.
