On June 16, Regina Mundi Catholic Elementary School celebrated another successful year of its Best Buddies Club, a program founded on the values of friendship, inclusion, and kindness.
What began as a small group of students asking to be buddies with peers at recess quickly evolved into a school-wide initiative. Through these simple acts of kindness, students built meaningful connections and created opportunities for everyone to feel welcomed and included.
“The celebration recognized the positive impact that the Best Buddies Club has had on the school community and the many students who continue to foster an environment where everyone feels included and valued,” said Special Education Resource Teacher Clair Gervasi.
“A special thank you goes to Mrs. Smith, Mr. Goodwin, and the Special Education Team for their dedication and support in making both the program and celebration possible.”
