Whether your child is just beginning school or transferring from another school board, we are happy to help you register your child for a school within the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board. The steps outlined on this page will guide you through the HWCDSB Online Registration Process.

Parents/guardians can register online at https://hwcdsb.myontarioedu.ca/

First time users: If you have never enrolled a child with the HWCDSB, you will first need to create an account to access the Online Registration web page. Please see HWCDSB Online Registration Parent Process for instructions on requesting an account.

French Immersion

Bienvenue! There are five elementary schools in which the French Immersion program is offered from Kindergarten to Grade 8:

- St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Elementary School
- St. Eugene Catholic Elementary School
- St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School
- St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Elementary School
- Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Elementary School

The French Immersion program begins in Year 2 of Kindergarten. Students usually complete Year 1 of Kindergarten at their local, neighbourhood school. Transportation to and from the French Immersion school is provided at the student’s home school.
