The Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board extends our deepest condolences and joins in prayer following the tragic events at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia.
We mourn the lives lost and hold the victims, their families, students, teachers, staff, first responders, and the entire Tumbler Ridge community in our thoughts and prayers during this time of profound sorrow. We also ask for continued prayers for the healing and full recovery of those injured. May all who are grieving be surrounded by God’s comfort, strength, and peace.
Flags at HWCDSB sites will be flown at half-mast in honour of those affected.
