
When retired St. Agnes Catholic Elementary School Teacher Sherrie Savelli realized her Scholastic credits had accumulated to $544, she decided to give back to her community.
She used her credits to purchase new books and donated them to McMaster Children’s Hospital, carefully choosing titles that promote hope, belonging, and positivity. Her thoughtful gesture has had a meaningful impact on young patients, providing comfort and support during difficult times.
