At their June 23, 2026 meeting, the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board approved a balanced $473.8 million operating budget and $67.1 million capital budget for 2026-2027. Rooted in the mission of Catholic education and aligned with the Board's Multi-Year Strategic Plan, the budget places student learning, student well-being, and student faith formation at the centre of its priorities. Investments include literacy and mathematics supports, implementation of the Student and Family Support Office, classroom technology enhancements, Equal Opportunities Schools, Alternative Learning for Life programming, and faith formation initiatives. Capital plans include continued construction of the new Catholic secondary school in Binbrook and the five-classroom addition and child care centre at St. Paul Catholic Elementary School.
