Bishop Tonnos Catholic Secondary School has been recognized by the Government of Ontario for its leadership in Unified Champions, an inclusive sport program that brings students with and without intellectual disabilities together through teamwork, leadership, and belonging. The school is one of only seven recipients across the province to receive a banner and recognition for enriching the lives of students through inclusive athletics.
This recognition reflects our Each Belongs philosophy, where every student is seen, valued, and celebrated for their unique gifts and contributions across the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board.
