Our Catholic school community is blessed to celebrate a remarkable milestone as one of our dedicated Catholic educators, Mr. Paul Dobrowolski prepares to be ordained to the Permanent Diaconate, answering God's call in a new way, committing himself to a life of service to the Church through Word, Sacrament, and Charity.
The Ordination Mass is a significant moment not only for the ordained and his family, but also for our entire Catholic community. It is a beautiful reminder that God continues to call ordinary people to extraordinary service and that vocations are nurtured through faith, prayer, and witness.
During the Rite of Ordination, the bishop presents the newly ordained deacon with the Book of the Gospels and says:
"Receive the Gospel of Christ, whose herald you have become. Believe what you read, teach what you believe, and practice what you teach."
These words reflect the mission of every Catholic educator and disciple: to encounter Christ in the Gospel and to live its message each day.
We invite all staff, students, and families to join us in celebrating this joyous occasion by watching the livestream of the Ordination Mass, Saturday, June 6th at 11:00 a.m.
Let us pray for our soon to be deacon as he begins this new chapter of ministry and continues to serve as a witness of faith, hope, and love. May his example inspire each of us to listen for God's call and respond with generous hearts.
Paul, congratulations and prayers as you prepare to serve Christ and His Church as a Permanent Deacon.
