School may be out but camp is in full swing! One of the highlights of this year's Focus on Youth Camp is the return of our weekly visits to the St. Patrick De Mazenod Farm, an initiative introduced last year to bring horticulture and outdoor learning into the camp experience. do
For campers and student leaders, the farm offers a chance to connect with nature and experience life on a working farm. Students discover how fresh produce grown at the farm is delivered to the De Mazenod Door, where it is used to prepare healthy meals for hundreds of patrons every single day.
This experience gives campers a meaningful opportunity to see faith in action while learning about service, sustainability, and caring for creation...with plenty of opportunities to snuggle a few fluffy bunnies.
