St. Augustine Catholic Elementary School and St. Bernadette Catholic Elementary School were featured in Dundas Today this week as students and staff marked Pink Shirt Day.

The article highlights how both school communities participated in activities promoting kindness, solidarity, and anti-bullying awareness. At St. Augustine, students contributed to a collaborative art project symbolizing unity and belonging, while St. Bernadette extended its focus on positive relationships and friendship throughout the week.

Many of our schools also marked Pink Shirt Day, taking part in activities that encouraged kindness, inclusion, and respect.

Grounded in our Each Belongs philosophy, Pink Shirt Day calls us to stand together against bullying and to nurture respectful relationships within our classrooms, schools, and communities. Through these meaningful acts, we continue to reflect the light of Christ and build welcoming environments where every student can flourish.
