Dr. Catharine Bowman, a graduate of St. Mary Catholic Secondary School, has completed her PhD at Stanford University, where her research focuses on advancing treatment for lymphedema. Inspired by her mother’s experience with the condition, Catharine began exploring this work as a HWCDSB student through a science fair project, an early interest that has grown into a distinguished academic and research path, including presentations, published work, and contributions to clinical studies.
We are proud to see one of our graduates making a meaningful impact through her work, compassion, and dedication to improving the lives of others.
