Our second strategic goal, Transform the Future, focuses on preparing students and staff for a rapidly changing world while remaining grounded in our Catholic mission and values.
The HWCDSB is committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning that supports professional growth and lifelong development. Through leadership and succession planning, we will ensure that our system remains strong, dynamic, and faith-filled for years to come.
Technology and innovation will play a key role in this transformation. Initiatives such as school-based Digital Champions, leadership development in innovation, and system-wide technology assessments will help staff and students confidently use digital tools and other emerging technologies to enhance teaching, learning, and inclusion.
Equally important is the promotion of well-being for both students and staff. Expanded wellness initiatives, mental health supports, and safe, inclusive environments will help each in our community to thrive in mind, body, and spirit.
Through innovation, leadership, and a focus on wellness, we are transforming the future of Catholic education — shaping graduates who are confident, resilient, and rooted in faith.
