February 25, 2026, marks Pink Shirt Day in the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board. Rooted in our Catholic faith and our shared commitment to the dignity of every person, Pink Shirt Day is an opportunity to reflect on how we are called to create school communities where all feel safe, valued, and loved.

Students and staff are encouraged to wear pink as a visible reminder that kindness, compassion, and inclusion are at the heart of who we are as Catholic educators and learners. This year’s theme, “Sprinkle Kindness,” highlights the importance of everyday actions, a smile, a kind word, offering support, or ensuring that everyone feels included.

Grounded in our belief that Each Belongs, Pink Shirt Day invites us to stand together against bullying and to foster respectful relationships within our classrooms, schools, and communities. Through these small yet meaningful acts, we continue to reflect the light of Christ and build welcoming environments where every student can flourish.

As we journey together in hope, may our wearing of pink be a symbol of unity, empathy, and our ongoing commitment to care for one another.
