For over 2 decades, a boutique in the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board has ensured students are dressed the part for their precious moments.
The Precious Moments Boutique, located inside the St. Mary Catholic Education Resource Centre, is a donation centre where students can pick from an assortment of new and gently experienced graduation and First Holy Communion, free of charge.
This year, Open House dates will be:
Wednesday, March 25th: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursday, May 7th: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Location:
St. Mary Catholic Education Resource Centre - 209 MacNab Street North, 3rd Floor
(Entrance to the boutique is located at the corner of MacNab St. N and Colbourne St.)
Please note, at this time, the Boutique is only offering outfits for Graduation and First Holy Communion. One complete outfit per student. Student receiving outfit must be present.
To help prepare for our Open House dates in the Spring, the Boutique is looking to collect the following:
- Formal graduation dresses (maxi/midi dresses)
- Suits (separate pieces welcome)
- Dress shoes/heels
- First Communion outfits/shoes
- Clutches/purses
Due to limited storage, only the above items will be accepted. Please ensure items are clean, current, and on hangers. Donations can be dropped off on Friday, February 20th and Friday, March 6th from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. at reception of the Father Kennedy Catholic Education Centre located at 90 Mulberry Street.
