HWCDSB is excited to offer two engaging non-credit summer programs designed to help students transition confidently into Grade 9. Whether your child is looking to strengthen foundational skills or get a jump-start on the high school curriculum, these programs are a perfect opportunity!

Mastering Math
For: Incoming Grade 9 Students

This two-week program is designed to review essential Grade 8 math concepts and introduce key Grade 9 topics. Students will focus on:

  • Fractions and integers
  •  Solving equations
  •  Ratios and rates
  •  And more!

Perfect for reinforcing previous learning and gaining confidence for the year ahead.

Level Up Literacy
For: Incoming Grade 9 Students

A two-week experience aimed at boosting reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills, along with building digital readiness and research confidence.

Whether students need review or are ready to advance, this program sets them up for success in high school.

St. Jean de Brébeuf – 200 Acadia Dr.
Cathedral High School – 30 Wentworth St. N
