We regret to announce the death of Renzo Mario Bartolomeo on Thursday November 28th, 2024. Renzo Mario was the father of Gemma Malatesta Bartolomeo, Educational Assistant at St. John Paul II CES and Christopher Bartolomeo, teacher St. John Henry Newman CSS.  Visitation will take place on Monday, December 2nd, 2024 at Bay Gardens Funeral Home 947 Rymal Rd. East, Hamilton Ontario from 4-8pm. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd at 11am at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 20 Idlewood Ave., Hamilton, Ontario.   In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. 

 

 

Timothy Richard O'Mara

We regret to announce the death of Timothy Richard O’Mara on Tuesday November 26, 2024. Timothy Richard was the father of Kathleen Thompson, Chaplaincy Leader at Bishop Ryan C.S.S.  Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at St. Julia Roman Catholic Church, 251 Glenridge Avenue, St. Catharines, Ontario from 10-11am. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday November 30th at 11am at St. Julia Roman Catholic Church, 251 Glenridge Avenue, St. Catharines. It is with heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of Mario Bilich, retired secondary school teacher of 38 years. Mario was the father of Serena Bilich, French teacher at Canadian Martyrs Elementary and Tania Morales, Occasional teacher. The visitation will be held at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel on Thursday October 24, 2024 from 2-4 pm and 5-8 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony's Church on Friday October 25, 2024  at 11:00 am. The interment will be private.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at 11 am at Regina Mundi Catholic Church, 631 Mohawk Rd. West, Hamilton with interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 254 Garner Rd. West, Ancaster. The family invites you to a Celebration of Life Reception following the burial back at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East. Barbara was the mother of Cheryl Brookes-Gratton, Manager – Payroll Services and grandmother of Brittney Brookes-Gratton, Educational Assistant. As per Barb’s wishes, a private cremation has taken place and there will be a private service for immediate family only. A celebration of life will possibly take place at a later date.
