Week 3: This week we light the candle that symbolizes joy. During the third week of Advent we are filled with joy for the near arrival of Jesus on Christmas day. This Sunday is often called "Gaudete Sunday" as we reflect on the joy the shepherd's felt at the birth of Jesus.

In partnership with Metrolinx, St. Mary Catholic Secondary School recently hosted the first-ever YOUthfest, welcoming approximately 250 Grade 10 students to an engaging and interactive event focused on transit literacy.

CHCH News recently highlighted a wheelchair basketball clinic at St. Jean de Brébeuf Secondary School where students learned the fundamentals of the sport under the guidance of Parasport Ontario athlete Jamoi Anderson.

Last month, 30 teachers from Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board attended the annual When Faith Meets Pedagogy Conference, joining over 600 other teachers from across the province.
