To our amazing students: well done on finishing another school year! This is a good time to celebrate everything you have accomplished over the past several months.

Students from St. John the Baptist Catholic Elementary School recently helped make a little Hamilton history by participating in the naming of the Hamilton Police Service Mounted Patrol Unit’s newest horse.

The values expressed in sports can unite people, break down barriers, and create spaces bringing together cultures and generations.

As graduation ceremonies take place across the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Class of 2026.

Thanks to the generosity of the Hamilton Golf and Country Club Foundation, one graduating student from every secondary school and alternative education program across Hamilton has been given a $5,000 bursary to help fund their post-secondary education.

Students currently in Grades 9–12 can still register for the 2026 Summer School Program. A variety of in-person credit courses will be offered at St. Jean de Brébeuf Catholic Secondary School and Cathedral High School from July 2–29.

It may not have been Paris, France, but students at Immaculate Conception Catholic Elementary School were still treated to a cultural Parisian experience during a vibrant two-day French Café event.

On June 11, students, staff, families, alumni, and community members came together to honour five decades of faith-filled learning, service, and Catholic education at St. James the Apostle Catholic Elementary School.

The Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board is proud to recognize the exceptional student leaders who serve as Student Council Presidents and members of the Presidents' Council across our seven Catholic secondary schools.
