Board Criteria
The student's behaviour meets the DSM-IV criteria for:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder/Pervasive Developmental Disorder
- Asperger's Disorder
- Autistic Disorder
- Childhood Disintegrative Disorder
- Pervasive Developmental Disorder - not otherwise specified
- Rett's Disorder
AND
- Documentation that provides evidence which indicates that communication, social and/or self-regulation difficulties are having a negative impact on educational performance.
