Steps to secure a permit for an auditorium
1) input permit application for either site 1 or 2
Notes:
a) Maximums for either site is 500 persons despite capacity
b) Rehearsals run on a weeknight can be input under the applicable NFP category but all SHOWS/EVENTS/ RECITALS with audience members must be input under a separate permit and entered as CATEGORY 6
c) Number of custodial staff is assigned by CUS Supervisor
d) permit for rental of space and custodial staffing is paid through the permit and to the school Board
e) staffing fees for theatre technicians, supervisory staff, and A-V requirements are paid separately to the school and must be made at least 2 weeks prior to approved booking
2) upload the Certificate of Insurance/ Hold Harmless Agreement and Emergency Action Plan to the permit application - no permit will be granted without any of these documents
3) if paying by cheque, please refer to payment section of the Community Use of Schools website
4) please work directly with the school well in advance of your event to ensure A-V and site specific details

Please note:
EVERY AUDITORIUM RENTAL REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING:
1) that an A-V rental form be filled out and be submitted more than 2 weeks in advance of your approved booking ( see below link )
2) FLAT RATE FEE OF $350 - includes House PA System with 1 wired microphone/ 1 microphone stand / 1 aux input
